The NS&I Premium Bonds winners November 2025 results are now available, and National Savings and Investments (NS&I) has announced two new millionaires from Shropshire and York. A total of over £401 million was paid out to more than 6 million winners across the UK this month. This milestone draw also marks 69 years since Premium Bonds first went on sale in November 1956. We explain how to check your numbers right now and see if you’ve won.

How to Check if You’ve Won in the November Draw

You can check if you’ve won a Premium Bonds prize using three official NS&I methods. Whether you’re searching for NS&I Premium Bonds winners November 2025 or checking older bonds, these tools cover everything:

Official Website Prize Checker: Visit the NS&I Prize Checker website at nsandi.com and enter your Premium Bonds holder’s number (either 9 or 10 digits, or 8 digits followed by a letter). The prize checker shows prizes from the current month, the last six draws, and any unclaimed prizes.

Official NS&I App: Download the free “Premium Bonds prize checker” app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. The app allows you to check using either your holder’s number or your 11-digit NS&I number, check prizes for family members, and receive countdown notifications for the next draw.

Amazon Alexa Skill: Enable the “NS&I Premium Bonds” Alexa skill to check for prizes, find out when the next results are available, and check for any unclaimed prizes using just your voice.

If you are registered for NS&I’s online service with your contact details and bank account information, prizes are paid automatically – either by direct bank transfer to your account or by reinvestment into more Premium Bonds. Most winners receive their prizes automatically, with almost three-quarters of all prizes now paid by direct bank transfer.

This Month’s £1 Million Jackpot Winners: Shropshire and York

The NS&I Premium Bonds winners November 2025 include two jackpot victors who will each receive £1 million. The first £1 million winning bond number is 258GE105589, held by someone from Shropshire. This winner holds £50,000 in Premium Bonds and purchased the winning bond in October 2015. They are the fourth jackpot winner from Shropshire.

The second £1 million jackpot winner holds bond number 568FY679677 and is from York. This winner also holds £50,000 in Premium Bonds and purchased their winning bond in February 2024. They are the second person to win the £1 million jackpot in York.

Andrew Westhead, NS&I Retail Director, said: “Congratulations to our two jackpot winners from Shropshire and York who have each started the countdown to the festive period a million pounds richer. This month is particularly special because we’re celebrating 69 years since Premium Bonds originally went on sale. Over 22 million people hold Premium Bonds, with the exciting chance of winning one of the millions of tax-free prizes each month”.

Winners of the top £1 million prize are traditionally told in person by “Agent Million,” an NS&I employee who travels across the country to deliver the good news, usually visiting winners on the day before the first working day of the month. Since the first Premium Bonds millionaire in April 1994, Agent Million has travelled around 222,000 miles to visit more than 530 jackpot winners.

November 2025 Prize Draw: The Full Breakdown

The November 2025 draw distributed substantial prizes to Premium Bonds holders across the UK. Here are the complete statistics showing why so many people check for NS&I Premium Bonds winners November 2025 results each month:

      Total Prize Fund: £401,078,550

      Total Number of Prizes: 6,076,948

Total Eligible Bonds: 133,692,841 individual £1 bonds

Odds of Winning: 22,000 to 1 for each £1 bond

      High-Value Prize Distribution:

      • £1 million: 2 winners
      • £100,000: 76 winners
      • £50,000: 153 winners
      • £25,000: 305 winners
      • £10,000: 761 winners
      • £5,000: 1,525 winners
      • £1,000: 16,042 winners

      • £25: 2,597,666 winners

Premium Bonds winners are selected by ERNIE 5 (Electronic Random Number Indicator Equipment), which uses quantum technology powered by light to generate random numbers. This advanced system can produce enough random numbers for an entire monthly prize draw in around 20 minutes—over 20 times faster than previous versions. Every bond number has a separate and equal chance of winning a prize, regardless of when or where it was purchased.

❗ A Vital Security Warning: How to Spot Premium Bond Scams

NS&I will never contact you to ask for your bank details or password. Protecting yourself from scams is critical when handling your Premium Bonds account—particularly important given the high-value nature of some NS&I Premium Bonds winners November 2025 announcements that scammers exploit.

Genuine Prize Notifications: Legitimate prize notifications from NS&I—whether by email, text message, or post—will never reveal the prize amount upfront. They will simply ask you to log in to your secure account or use the official prize checker.

Email Safety: NS&I will never send you a link in an email going directly to their login page or ask you to enter your online banking details via email. If you’ve registered with a UK home address, NS&I includes part of your postcode in emails they send, except for Premium Bonds prize winner emails. Emails from NS&I will have “NS&I Customer Services” or “NS&I” as sender names.

Text Message Safety: NS&I will always use “NSandI” as the sender ID in text messages and sign off with “NS&I” at the end. They will never send you a link in a text message going directly to their login page.

Phone Call Safety: NS&I will never ask you to transfer money into a “safe account” for fraud prevention purposes. If you’re unsure about a caller claiming to be from NS&I, don’t give them personal or security details until you’ve confirmed the caller is genuine by calling NS&I back using a trusted number from their official website.

What to Do if Suspicious: If you receive suspicious communications, do not click any links or provide any information. Instead, log in to the official NS&I website directly by typing the web address yourself (www.nsandi.com) to verify any claimed wins. If you think you may have been a victim of a scam, call NS&I immediately and report it to Action Fraud.

Have You Got Unclaimed Prizes? How to Check Old Bonds

There are currently over 2.6 million unclaimed Premium Bonds prizes worth over £110 million from previous draws. The good news is that Premium Bonds prizes never expire—there is no time limit to make your claim.

Why Prizes Go Unclaimed: Unclaimed prizes typically belong to bondholders who have not registered their contact details with NS&I or who have moved house without updating their address. When prize warrants (cheques) are returned undelivered, the prizes remain unclaimed until the bondholder gets in touch.

How to Check for Unclaimed Prizes: The easiest way to check for unclaimed wins is to use the NS&I Prize Checker on the official website or download the official prize checker app. Both will show you prizes from the last six months and highlight any older unclaimed prizes. You only need to enter your details once to check multiple family members’ bonds.

If You’ve Lost Your Bond Details: If you have really “lost” your Premium Bonds and don’t have your holder’s number or NS&I number, you can use the NS&I’s free Tracing Service. This service requires you to download and print a form. Alternatively, you can use the My Lost Account service run by UK Finance and the Building Societies Association. According to Freedom of Information data, NS&I’s tracing service tracked down £177 million in lost accounts in one year, reuniting account holders with an average pot worth £3,000.

How to Claim Unclaimed Prizes: If you’re registered for NS&I’s online and phone service, you can simply call NS&I to claim your prize. If you’re not registered, you can write to NS&I at: NS&I, Sunderland SR43 2SB. Include your Premium Bonds holder’s number, current name, any previous names, current address, any previous addresses where bonds may have been registered, and your signature. Unclaimed prizes will be sent to your home address as a warrant (like a cheque).

Important Reminder: It’s essential to keep your contact details up to date with NS&I to ensure you receive notification of any prizes you win. If you’ve recently moved or changed contact details, you should update your information by logging into your NS&I account or by writing to NS&I.

      Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

How are Premium Bonds winners paid?

Most Premium Bonds winners—over 90% of all prizes—are now paid automatically. If you are registered for NS&I’s online service with your bank details, prizes are paid directly into your bank account via BACS transfer or automatically reinvested into more Premium Bonds if you’ve chosen that option. This automated payment system was expanded starting from December 2020, when NS&I began phasing out paper warrants (cheques) for prize payments. If you are not registered for automatic payment, you may still receive a prize warrant in the post, though NS&I strongly encourages all customers to register their bank details for faster, easier, and more secure payment.

When is the next Premium Bonds draw?

The Premium Bonds draw happens every month, with results released on the first working day of the following month. The December 2025 results will be available on Monday, December 1st, 2025. Results for high-value prizes (£5,000 and above) are typically published by 10am on the first working day of the month, while smaller prizes (£1,000 and below) are generally released two days after the initial draw.

Do Premium Bonds prizes count as income?

No. All Premium Bonds prizes are 100% tax-free in the UK. There is no Income Tax or Capital Gains Tax due on any prizes, regardless of the amount won or your usual tax bracket. This tax-free status applies to all prizes from £25 up to £1 million. While the personal savings allowance introduced in 2016 means many people no longer pay tax on regular savings interest anyway, Premium Bonds prizes do not count towards this allowance, making them particularly advantageous for higher-rate taxpayers who have limited personal savings allowances.

National Savings and Investments (NS&I) is the UK government’s savings bank and is 100% backed by HM Treasury, which guarantees every penny you invest—not just up to £85,000 like most UK banks and building societies, but your entire investment regardless of amount. This unique government backing makes NS&I the only UK savings provider that secures 100% of your savings. Since Premium Bonds first went on sale in 1956, over £38 billion has been paid out in prizes across more than 797 million prize wins.
